| Abstract: | In this paper, we propose a novel structure for adaptive signleast mean squares (ASLMS). A powerful adaptation scheme is usedto adapt the step-size of the sign function inside the recursionof the sign algorithm. It is shown how the algorithm can beimplemented with no real multiplication. Simulation result showthat the performance of the proposed algorithm can be madearbitrarily close to that of the original least means squaresalgorithm. | ||
