Register today to attend this one-day workshop, which is being offered to educators attending ICASSP 2004 free of charge. This workshop is a one-day, hands-on technical workshop facilitated by a qualified Texas Instruments instructor. It is designed to offer a practical introduction to the TMS32C6416/6713 DSPs. No prior DSP experience is required. It will introduce educators to the following:
The code-compatible C6000 DSP platform provides high-performance DSPs that enable new innovations in cost-sensitive applications such as professional and home audio, industrial automation, voice and speech recognition as well as high-end graphics and imaging.
Attendees will receive a free TMS32C6416 or TMS32C6713 DSP Starter Kit (DSK) at the end of the course. NOTE: You must attendee entire workshop to receive your free DSK.
Use this form to apply for admission. You will be notified of your acceptance into the workshop. Educators planning to use their experience to start real-time DSP educational labs will be given preference. Students will be accepted if there is space available. See www.ti.com/univ_icassp for more information.

Please join MathWorks key engineers as they discuss essential design tools used to rapidly translate algorithm-level concepts into working, real-time prototypes for DSP hardware implementation.
This workshop will demonstrate how MATLAB and Simulink are helping engineers, professors and researchers to design and simulate video processing applications at leading companies and universities. This workshop will introduce the basic theory of how MATLAB and Simulink are helping engineers advance video processing in the areas of:
The workshop will target design to the TI C6400 DSP. Live demonstrations will include creation of simulation test-benches and verification of real-time behavior of the final system from MATLAB.
To sign up for the workshop, please email your contact information (name, affiliation, address, city, state, zip, country, phone, fax, and email) to Stacey.Raffi@mathworks.com with the subject "Mathworks ICASSP Workshop".
The following workshops will be held at the same time as ICASSP 2004.
