Abstract: | In this paper, the near-far resistance of the minimum mean square error (MMSE) detector is derived for wireless code division multiple access (CDMA) communication systems with spatial diversity. The impact on the rank of the channel matrix with or without spatial diversity is also studied. The near-far resistance under different transmit-receive antenna configurations is analyzed and compared. It is shown that near-far resistance is enhanced when spatial diversity is introduced. | ||
