Abstract: | In this paper, we consider practical two-way communicationschemes with blind channel estimation in TDD (Time-DivisionDuplex) MISO (Multi-Input Single-Output) and MIMO (Multi-InputMulti-Output) systems. In MISO system, we show that the blindchannel estimation only needs to be done at the transceiverequipped with multiple antennas and this estimated channel can beefficiently utilized for both uplink and downlink communication.In MIMO system, we propose a two-stage communication scheme whichbegins with uplink transmission using differential space-timeblock codes and follows with two-way beamforming with blindchannel estimation. We demonstrate that the novel schemes possessvery good performance through simulations and compare it withtraining-based schemes. | ||
